Marie-Jeanne’s PhD research looks broadly at health tax and the effectiveness of a health levy in Burkina Faso. She holds a docteur en chirurgie Dentaire degree from the Félix Houphouet-Boigny University, Ivory Coast, and a Master’s in Health Economics from CESAG, Senegal. She has previously worked in the health sector and as a business consultant in Zimbabwe. Her areas of interest in research include; Health Economics, Health Financing, and Public Health.
