Policy analysis tool: Utilising a sexual and reproductive health and rights approach in national strategic plans on HIV and AIDS
This policy analysis tool assists in the evaluation of utilising a sexual and reproductive health and rights approach in National Strategic Plans (NSPs) on HIV and AIDS. A central premise of this component is that NSPs should advance a sexual and reproductive health and rights based response to HIV, which can be achieved by effectively realising a list of given subcomponents relating to specific interventions and approaches. This has been adapted from the “Framework for Women, Girls, and Gender Equality in NSPs on HIV and AIDS in Southern and Eastern Africa”. The original Framework is a collaboration of 19 organisations.
