HEARD invites you to a seminar by Dr Sven Hassler from the University of Gothenburg who will be presenting on social epidemiological approaches.

About the speaker: Dr Sven Hassler is a senior lecturer at Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at Institute of Medicine, University of Gothenburg. Dr Hassler’s early epidemiological research focused on the health and health conditions amongst different populations, including the Sami population in Sweden. His current research interest focusses how concepts related to health promotion, for example, participation can be applied to the social determinants of health framework.
