Zacharia Grand is employed by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC), Zimbabwe. For his PhD, Zacharia aims to conduct a review of the MoHCC’s M&E system to identify weaknesses, opportunities and threats that can be worked around to strengthen the health system. More broadly, he wishes to engage with inter-regional institutions to share his experiences with other African countries facing similar M&E challenges for their public health responses to provide evidence for informed decision and policy making in their public health sectors.
