Patience is employed at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Uganda. For her PhD, she aims to focus on improving access to and utilization of contraceptives among adolescent girls and young women in Uganda. She will bring skills learned through her PhD to work in collaboration with other scientists, programme officers and donors to improve current sexual and reproductive health programming for girls and young women.
