
Thokozile Jocelyn Mbaya

Thokozile Mbaya is a multidisciplinary researcher and population scientist with over a decade of experience in research within the development, health, and religious sectors. She has worked extensively on projects aimed at youth empowerment, women’s health, and social justice, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. Currently, Thokozile is a PhD student at VID Specialized University in Norway, where she has submitted her thesis investigating women’s perceptions of the role of the Anglican Church in addressing women’s sexual health challenges in the complex societal fabric of Cape Town, South Africa.
