
Joyce Mlay
Joyce’s PhD research focuses on the implications of home delivery for prevention of mother to child HIV transmission in Tanzania.
She obtained her Master of Science in Tropical Disease Control (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences in Tanzania. She has previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Hubert Kairuki Memorial University in Tanzania. After graduating, she plans to return to Tanzania to assist in capacity building through postgraduate teaching.
Her areas of interest include; Epidemiology, Community Health, HIV, Reproductive Health, and Malaria.
