James Njobvuyalema

James’ PhD’s topic is; translating policy into practice: appropriate integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) service delivery models for young women selling sex (YWSS) in Malawi.

He is has a Master of Public Health (MPH), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and a University Certificate in Midwifery (UCM). Has over 15 years of experience in managing SRHR, HIV and AIDS projects, health policy development and reviews, and health systems strengthening. My latest job was at the Malawi National AIDS Commission (NAC) as the HIV Prevention and Management Officer. Previously worked as HIV/SRHR project coordinator under Save the Children, Management Sciences for Health, and World Vision Malawi.

 

His research interests include SRHR/HIV integration, SRHR programming for the marginalized population, health policy implementation, and health systems strengthening.
