Comfort’s PhD topic is; Improving the knowledge and management of female genital schistosomiasis in Ghana: A step towards schistosomiasis control and elimination.
She holds an MSc in Epidemiology (Implementation Science) from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. She currently works for the Ghana Health Service at the district level. She has worked in the areas of; surveillance, control, prevention of infectious diseases, outbreak of infectious diseases preparedness and response, Expanded Programmes on Immunisation, and neglected tropical disease management. Her research area of interest is public health issues, especially among women and children.
