Agnes’s PhD Topic is “Effectiveness of clinic-based patient-led HPV DNA self-sampling among HIV-Infected Women in Uganda”.
She has a Bsc. in Nursing, an MSc. in Health Services Research, and a PGD in SRHR. She has studied at Makerere University, Eramus University of Rotterdam, and University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is affiliated with the Department of Public Health Medicine, School of Nursing and Public Health, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Makerere University, School of Public Health, and Department of Community Health, and Behavioural Sciences.
Her work to date includes; HIV/AIDS programming, integration of cervical cancer (CC) screening (HPV testing) in HIV/AIDS care, SGBV in informal settlements, building resilient communities through research and innovations, teaching, grants writing, and project development and management.
Currently she’s involved in; the integration of cervical cancer screening (HPV testing) in HIV/AIDS care, SGBV in informal settlements, building resilient communities through research and innovations, teaching, grants writing, health economic evaluation, and project development and management.
Some of her interests in research include; the integration of cervical cancer in SRHR, screening /HPV testing in HIV/AIDS care, HPV vaccination and health economic evaluations for CC prevention.
