Scott joined HEARD in 2007 as a Visiting Research Fellow, from the London School of Economics. He has a BA in History from the University of Victoria (Canada), and an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics. His background is in global health and complex emergencies, and his recent research interests have included the politics of international HIV/AIDS aid allocation. Currently, Scott is working on research of the state of HIV/AIDS emergency in Swaziland. Before joining HEARD he volunteered in AIDS hospice for young children in the Western Cape, and in an environmental sustainability project in Nepal. |

Clara is a Visiting Research Fellow from the London School of Economics, she joined HEARD in 2007. She has a BA in Political Science and History and an MSc in Development Management from the LSE. Her background is in development studies and community health, and recent research interests have included community attitudes towards HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment campaigns.

Caroline Kuo is a Visiting Scholar to HEARD from the University of Oxford. Her professional background includes research on the Human Papilloma Virus at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and working as a consultant at the Lewin Group, a firm focused on influencing health policy and programmes in the US.
