Khaled Ahmed joined HEARD as a Research Fellow in December 2008 on a two-year contract. Khaled is an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow, and holds an MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.
In 2006, he graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Leicester in the UK. He has a background in fundraising for Oxfam UK and raising awareness of poverty and development challenges in his community. He is currently working on Rebuilding Human Capital in Swaziland with Alan Whiteside and Rochelle Burgess from HEARD and also alongside the National Emergency Response Committee on HIV/AIDS (NERCHA) and UNICEF Swaziland, Oxfam Short Papers Initiative and the 'SADC Economics Reference Group' (SERG) |
