The HEARD Resource Centre is a unique source of socio-economic HIV/AIDS-related information at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

The previously little-known Resource Centre has become increasingly accessible to staff and students alike with the appointment of a Library & Information Specialist (in March 2002) and the ongoing re-organisation and relocation of the information which is housed in the Division.

The Division is still in the process of having in place a fully searchable database for all the information materials in the Resource Centre that are housed by the Division.
