Collaborating Centre  Latest Publications  Multi-media | HEARD Hosts Professor Senyo AdjibolosooWhile here Professor Adjibolosoo who is also the founder and president of the International Institute for Human Factor Development (IIHFD) engaged academics, researchers and students, as well as members of the business community at workshops, seminars and lectures on the significance of the human factor in economic growth and development. The visiting professor, inter alia, emphasised the quality of the human factor as a key determinant of the progress of all societies, and called for transformational educational development in Africa. According to him, the development of the human factor, which he defines as "the spectrum of personality characteristics.... that enable social, economic and political institutions to function, and remain functional over time" is a sine qua non for the progress of the continent and the prevention of HIV and AIDS.
Professor Adjibolosoo also participated in the 2nd Biennial International Conference and subsequent roundtable discussion hosted by HEARD and the African Association for Rhetoric (AAR) which was held at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, from 1 - 6 July 2009. He has since left for Ethiopia, en route to United States where he is based.
