Julius P. Mkhize is the Programme Administrator at HEARD. This means he overseas all projects at HEARD. Julius graduated in 2005 with a National Diploma in Library and Information Studies from the Durban University of Technology, where he also worked as a student library assistant.

Later in 2005 he worked as a Library Assistant at the Mangosuthu Technikon Library, and did training and volunteer projects in a public library. His special area of proficiency is in information resourcing, provision and archiving, and he joined HEARD late in 2006 to assist in our Resource and Information Centre; since then he has provided administrative assistance in the Project Admin office.
