Nkosinathi’s current portfolio is made up of the Adolescent Project and the Oxfam Project. The Adolescent Project, which is funded by Irish Aid, involves the study of investigating the relationship between socio-economic status and HIV prevalence’s amongst ADOLESCENTS aged 14 to 19 in KZN, Limpopo and Mpumulanga. The Oxfam Project involves the evaluation of food security, Oxfam Australia funds various organizations and Nkosinathi evaluates if the programme is effective in the communities. The two projects he is involved in are directly related to Programme 2: ‘Effect of HIV/AIDS on vulnerability especially of women and children’; which means, his research will answer two of the three questions in the Ovum, being: ‘effective responses’ and ‘what does vulnerability mean?’ because it responds directly to challenges posted by the HIV epidemic!
